Arsenio Rodriguez (Cadiz, 1973) has been involved in the recycling of art projects for over 20 years.
He lives and works close to the sea in Cadiz, Spain.
To raise awareness of global waste plastic problem and plastic pollution, he creates magical ‘underwater worlds’ from the materials that are rapidly destroying the seas. The washed up plastics are collected by the artist and incorporated into his artworks.
With his artworks, Arsenio creates an environment in which children and adults can experience the fascinating peculiarities of people who can create beauty but at the same time destroy.
